Can anyone take a guess as to what this is a picture of?
Nobody got it. Okay, so nobody guessed :) The above is a picture of fireworks on July 4th, but when I first saw it, it looked to me like some sort of outerspace photo - of a faraway nebulae or star cluster or something. I thought it was interesting, although it's really just that I was trying to figure out how in the world to properly take firework photos with my digital camera (which is relatively new to me!). You have to predict when the fireworks will go off and take the photo about 4-5 seconds ahead of time, and meanwhile hold your hand really steady. I sometimes think the old-fashioned cameras were a little easier! -Jenny
